Mammut employed that vest-style carry system to keep the load close to the body, preventing sagging or bouncing. Anatomically-shaped straps hug your shoulders and chest, while a sternum strap keeps the load secure. Rear access into the main compartment makes finding gear a breeze and a dedicated front compartment holds all of your avalanche safety equipment.
Attachments abound on the Aenergy ST 20-25. Cinch your skis without having to take off the pack, and toss on your helmet, rope, and ice axes/poles to their own attachments.
