The lightest helmet in the Backland touring fleet, Atomic's Backland UL is tailor-made for skimo athletes and tourers who need maximum protection and comfort while staying super-light. The Hybrid EPP In-Mold Construction is durable, light and supremely safe. Beneath the shell, Holo Core and AMID (Atomic Multi-directional Impact Deflector) technologies minimize weight while providing up to 40% higher impact protection than industry safety standards.

The helmet's also multi-norm certified for skiing, climbing and cycling – complete with a lightweight Skimo lining perfect for winter touring to summer bike rides. It’s made with 43% recycled material. And, like all Backland models, it includes the little details that make a big difference, like a headlamp mount, removeable strap station and reflective elements.
