Finally cracking the sub-1000-gram ski boot ceiling, Tecnica's Zero G Peak alpine touring ski boot is purpose-built for exceptional weight savings, top-shelf efficiency on the uphill, and the power and stability to outski your buddies on the descent.
Tecnica leaned on their heritage in the alpine space to engineer a semi-overlap shell design, allowing the boot to wrap the foot better to increase comfort while significantly improving downhill performance. Next, they tossed in a bi-directional carbon fiber plate under the foot, buttressing torsional stability and increasing power transmission. This boot can capably get down the hill in any style you please.
Obviously, the Zero G Peak shines on the uphill. First and foremost, it's ridiculously light, meaning you'll have energy reserves to go farther and push harder. A single-lever T-Hike mechanism serves up dreamy walkability with a ridiculous 75° range of motion, as well.
As always, Tecnica offers up customization with a CAS shell and Light liner for a great fit out of the box and the ability to punch or grind the shell (that didn't really happen in this category before).
